Gent has expressed interest in 21-year-old winger Sami Jalal. The Danish youth international currently plays for Viborg, who signed him from Kolding last summer, and he has since become a regular starter. However, Gent may not be the only club interested in the player, as Toulouse, FC Kopenhagen, and Brøndby are also reportedly monitoring him. While it is not clear what his transfer fee would be, Transfermarkt estimates his value at 750,000 euro. Jalal's contract with the Danish club is valid until June 2030, and he has scored two goals in 21 Superliga appearances this season. His move from Kolding in July 2025 was for a reported fee of €600k.
