Samed Baždar Transfer from Real Zaragoza to Union Saint-Gilloise

7h ago

Union Saint-Gilloise made a €2 million bid this summer for Samed Baždar, a 22-year-old Bosnian striker, which his club, Real Zaragoza, did not accept. Baždar is allowed to leave after Zaragoza was relegated to the Spanish third division and has a contract with the club until June 2029. The club paid €3 million to Partizan for Baždar in 2024, and it is reported that the club hopes to recover as much as possible of that amount. The striker has 14 caps and one goal for Bosnia-Herzegovina and played for half an hour in his country's World Cup opening match against Canada. Sturm Graz and AIK are also monitoring him. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €1.5 million. Reports from July 2026 indicated that Real Zaragoza also rejected a separate €2 million offer from FC Sankt Gallen and a loan proposal from Sturm Graz that had a €1 million purchase option.
