Samed Baždar Transfer from Real Zaragoza to AIK

24d ago

Anel Avdić from 'Expressen' reported that Samed Baždar is close to leaving Real Zaragoza for AIK. The same journalist states that negotiations between the two sides are in a decisive phase and the clubs are close to reaching an agreement for the transfer of Baždar. The player is open to the move to Solna, where a four-year contract is available for him. The management of the Swedish club believes their plans will not be obstructed and that the deal can be closed soon. AIK has been observing Samed Baždar for many months and attempted to sign him during the winter transfer window, but an agreement with Real Zaragoza was not reached then. This summer, Real Zaragoza intends to transfer Baždar permanently due to their relegation from Segunda División and the need to raise funds for the club budget. It is suggested that AIK may have presented a financially more attractive offer than previous bids.

AIK presented documents for a potential transfer of 22-year-old Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Serbian forward Samed Baždar, but the offer was deemed unsatisfactory by his club, Real Saragossa, and was rejected. Sturm Graz also had an unsatisfactory proposal for a loan with a €1 million purchase option turned down. A separate €2 million bid from FC Sankt Gallen was also refused by the Spanish side. Saragossa's relegation from the Segunda División has created a difficult financial situation, compelling them to sell valuable players. According to unofficial speculation, the club is seeking a minimum of €3 million for the forward. Baždar joined Real Zaragoza in July 2024 and is under contract until June 2029. He has 14 international caps and one goal for Bosnia-Herzegovina. In the 2025/2026 LaLiga2 season, he scored 5 goals and provided 4 assists in 39 appearances. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €1.50m.
