AIK is pursuing Ilves attacking midfielder Maksim Stjopin. It is said that the club is aiming to sign Stjopin for the next season, taking advantage of his expiring contract with the Tampere club. Stjopin is not the only Finnish talent linked with AIK, as Expressen previously reported that the club was in advanced talks with HJK's Nicklas Kroupkin.
