Leeds United have confirmed that 19-year-old midfielder Sam Chambers has been allowed to leave Elland Road for a season-long loan at Northampton Town. A Scotland U19s international who also holds English nationality, Chambers came through the academy at Thorp Arch and has made two senior appearances for the Whites. Both of these appearances occurred during their promotion season from the Championship. Chambers' contract with Leeds runs until 2028, and he will join the League Two side to gain more matchday experience.
