Said Ahmed Said Transfer from Sloboda Tuzla to Unirea Slobozia
Said Ahmed Said, a Ghanaian striker who also holds Italian citizenship, has signed a one-year contract with Unirea Slobozia. He is joining the team as a free agent following his recent departure from the Bosnian club Sloboda Tuzla. Said's career includes playing for Inter Milan's junior team and clubs such as Genoa, Monza, Hajduk Split, and FC Argeș. At 32 years of age, Said is making a return to Romania, having previously played for FC Argeș during the 2021/2022 season. He has already joined his new teammates at a training camp in Brașov. Over his career, Said has made five appearances in Serie A for Genoa, scoring once, and has played in Portugal's top league with Rio Ave. His most notable performance was at Hajduk Split, where he scored 29 goals and provided 16 assists in 89 matches. Unirea Slobozia, under the management of Andrei Prepeliță, is in a rebuilding phase after securing their league status through a playoff, and have also signed other players such as Ronaldo Deaconu, Florescu, Garutti, Hamdiu, Gurău, and Radu Negru.
