Ryan Hardie Transfer from Wrexham to Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth Argyle are interested in signing Wrexham's Scottish striker Ryan Hardie, who departed Home Park months ago, in what would be a potential reunion. Plymouth is one of the clubs interested in a deal for the 28-year-old, but they have competition from Bolton Wanderers and Bristol City. According to a report by Pete O'Rourke on Thursday, Bolton are the leading contenders to sign the forward, which would reunite him with his former head coach Steven Schumacher. Hardie has played only six times for Wrexham this season due to selection policy and a knee injury, with manager Phil Parkinson having preferred other players. It appears likely that the striker will finish the season away from the Welsh club, which he joined in July 2025 for a reported fee of approximately €825,000. His contract is valid until June 2028, and he has 8 caps and one goal for Scotland's U21 team. Transfermarkt estimates the player's value to be €1.00m.
