Ryan Hardie Transfer from Wrexham to Bristol City
Bristol City are interested in Wrexham's 28-year-old Scottish striker, Ryan Hardie, and their pursuit could be aided by financial gains from Anis Mehmeti's transfer to Ipswich Town and a sell-on clause from Antoine Semenyo's move to Man City. However, they face competition for the forward, with Plymouth Argyle and Bolton Wanderers also interested. Marc Iles of the Bolton News first reported that Plymouth were among the clubs pursuing a deal and that Bolton were the leading club in the pursuit of the player. Hardie, who moved from Plymouth to Wrexham a few months ago for a reported fee of approximately €825,000, has had limited playing time and is expected to finish the season at another club. The former Scotland U21 international has made 6 goalless appearances in the Championship this season. His contract with Wrexham runs until June 2028, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.00m.
