Strasbourg has submitted a first offer to Auxerre for Rudy Matondo, a 17-year-old French-Congolese defensive midfielder. The Alsatian club, which has an interest in young prospects, reportedly wants to finalize the deal during the winter transfer window to act before the competition that is anticipated to arise for the player next summer. Matondo has made 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season, is under contract with Auxerre until June 2028, and has been capped three times for the France U18 national team.
