In Hungary, Deaconu's playing time was limited to 129 minutes over 6 matches, which included 5 league games and one Hungarian Cup match, where he did not score or assist. The transfer was revealed by his agent, Anamaria Prodan, through social media, where a photo showed the player in a Unirea Slobozia jersey with a message wishing him 'Good luck!'.
