Jose Luis Mendilibar has told Roman Yaremchuk, 30, that he should stay and is actively considering the Ukrainian for the new season. The Basque coach wants the striker in the squad and believes he can contribute significantly to Olympiacos' attack. Although there were earlier scenarios about his departure, Mendilibar appreciates Yaremchuk's qualities and reportedly told him to stay in Piraeus and continue his efforts. Mendilibar does not want to lose Yaremchuk easily and is trying to convince him that he has a role and position in the new Olympiacos.
