Estudiantes reached an agreement with Bahía for the 21-year-old Argentine, Román Gómez. The Tricolor de Aço will disburse an amount close to three million dollars along with a 10% capital gain promise from a future sale. The right-back is expected to sign a five-year contract with the northeastern entity managed by Rogerio Ceni. Gómez will have the opportunity to play in the Copa Libertadores, as Bahía qualified for Phase 2 of the tournament by finishing seventh in the Brasileirao. Gómez joined Estudiantes in August 2024, and his current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
