Romaine Mundle Transfer from Sunderland to Rangers
A report states that Rangers have opened talks with Sunderland over Romaine Mundle.
The Daily Record reports that enquiries have been made for Sunderland players Dan Neil and Romaine Mundle. The outlet adds that Rangers manager Danny Rohl has made calls to determine if a move to Glasgow would be appealing. Sunderland is considering the option of a loan for Mundle, and Rangers will face competition from elsewhere.
Sky Sports reports that the Ibrox side has made enquiries to Sunderland for two players, Mundle and Neil, who are not regularly selected. Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris admitted he is open to finding a new club for anyone who is not playing regularly, saying that if a player is not expected to play much in the second part of the season, there is a possibility for that player to find another club to get playing time.
Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris has indicated a January exit is possible for winger Romaine Mundle, and it is understood that Rangers have made an initial inquiry. The former Tottenham trainee is also of interest to Club Brugge and Strasbourg, having found it difficult to get starting positions since returning from an injury. Le Bris confirmed discussions are possible for any player not receiving sufficient playing time, but it is believed Sunderland would only approve a transfer if they could sign an attacking replacement.
