Werder Bremen, FC Augsburg, TSG Hoffenheim, and VfB Stuttgart are four Bundesliga clubs interested in Roggerio Nyakossi, a Swiss and Togolese centre-back. The 22-year-old is the captain of the Swiss U21 national team. Feyenoord Rotterdam, FC Everton, Ipswich Town, RC Straßburg, and Olympique Lyon have also shown interest in him following his performances for OH Leuven in the Belgian Jupiler League. Nyakossi's contract with Leuven runs until 2027, but a potential transfer is complicated by his former club, Olympique Marseille. Marseille sold him to the Belgian club for 800,000 euros and holds a resale percentage clause and a priority buy-back option valued at six million euros. If the French club activates this option, any interested teams would have to negotiate directly with them. Nyakossi joined OH Leuven in January 2025 and has 10 caps for the Switzerland U21 team. His current market value is €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
