Roger Ibanez has announced on the social channels of Al Ahli that he has renewed his contract with the Saudi club until 2030. The club describes him as a solid shield that does not break.

According to Ben Jacobs, Roger Ibañez has agreed to an extension with Al-Ahli until 2030.

It is reported that Brazilian centre-back Roger Ibañez, 27, has paused talks over extending his Al-Ahli contract after several Premier League clubs showed interest in him. His current deal with the Saudi club expires in June 2027. He joined the club in August 2023 for a fee that was reported to be €28.5M. The defender has 8 caps for Brazil. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €18.00m.
