ESPN BR reports on Grêmio's latest bid to acquire forward Róger Guedes from Al Rayyan. Grêmio has made a new offer to Al Rayyan for the 28-year-old forward Róger Guedes. The offer is worth US$ 20 million (R$ 108 million). The transfer window in Brazil closes today, adding urgency to the negotiations. Marcelo Marques, a candidate for the presidency of Grêmio and financier of the negotiation, is keen on the signing.

Róger Guedes is a target for Grêmio. He is currently playing for Al-Rayyan in the Qatar Stars League and has been in excellent form, scoring three goals in three games for the 2025/2026 season. Previously, he scored 23 goals in 26 games in his debut season (2023/2024) and 31 goals in the following season. Grêmio's interest suggests they are looking to strengthen their squad with his consistent goal-scoring ability.

Grêmio has decided against signing the 28-year-old Brazilian forward, Róger Guedes, from Al Rayyan. The Qatari team's reluctance to release the player and the high financial demands associated with the deal were key factors in this decision.
