Voetbal International reports that Rodrigo Guth has returned to Fortuna Sittard from CA Talleres in Argentina. The defender was brought back this summer because he did not become an undisputed starter at the Argentine club. That club paid more than a million euros for him last year.

Fortuna Sittard is reportedly attempting to arrange a loan transfer for Rodrigo Guth, a 25-year-old Brazilian-German centre-back, to return to Limburg. Guth previously played for Fortuna from 2022 to 2025 before being sold by the club. It is understood that his current Argentine club, Talleres, will permit him to leave. His departure would make one of the six spots for foreign players available at the club, where he has played in six matches. Although his contract with Talleres extends until the end of 2028, it is said that both parties are optimistic about a potential agreement. The defender has one cap for Brazil's U20 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.20m.
