As part of their efforts to strengthen the squad during the winter transfer window, Fenerbahçe's football director Devin Özek is working to sign two players from Germany. Özek is expected to be in Germany for the new year to hold talks for Borussia Mönchengladbach's 23-year-old German midfielder Rocco Reitz and Union Berlin defender Diogo Leite. The purpose of his trip is to continue the existing efforts for the two players, and Fenerbahçe will increase their efforts if there is positive progress in the negotiations for either player. Reitz, who has a contract until June 2028, has made 15 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, providing one assist. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €17.00m. He has been capped 17 times for the Germany U21 team, scoring two goals.
