Roberto Massimo Transfer from SpVgg Greuther Fürth to Górnik Zabrze
According to Bild, Roberto Massimo has completed his transfer from Greuther Fürth to Górnik Zabrze, where he will team up with world champion Lukas Podolski. Massimo departs Greuther Fürth after a year, moving to Górnik Zabrze to play alongside Podolski. Fürth's sporting director, Stephan Fürstner, mentioned that Massimo had joined the club with a clear objective but was seeking more playing time, which the club was unable to assure for the upcoming season. Last season, Massimo appeared in 28 second division matches, netting 3 goals and providing 4 assists, but he lost his place in the starting lineup during the latter part of the season. He was also absent from the two friendly matches that Fürth played on Saturday.
Roberto Massimo will be joining Górnik Zabrze and will play alongside Lukas Podolski. He has signed a contract until 2028. Massimo moved to Fürth from VfB Stuttgart a year ago but had limited playing time. He aims to be more active on the field at Zabrze. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market worth at 800k euros.
