Roberto Gagliardini: Monza Contract Extension

Roberto Gagliardini had an automatic annual renewal clause in his contract with Monza, which would activate if the team avoided relegation. However, due to Monza's relegation, the clause will not be activated. Unless new agreements are reached, which seem unlikely due to the relegation, he will leave the club as a free agent on June 30.

At Monza, the automatic renewal of Roberto Gagliardini's contract has been triggered. Arrived last summer on a free transfer from Inter, the 30-year-old Italian midfielder (class of 1994, ex Atalanta) is now tied to the Brianza club for the next season until June 2025. So far in this Serie A season, he has scored one goal (against Lazio) and provided two assists (against Salernitana) in 31 appearances for a total of 2229 minutes played.
