According to information revealed by journalist Sami Al Qadi, Riyad Mahrez, a 34-year-old winger, and Al Ahli have reportedly reached an agreement to extend their collaboration. The captain of the Algerian national team is expected to continue in the Saudi Pro League until 2028, which is an additional year compared to his initial contract that was set to run until 2027. This extension is the result of discussions considered positive between the player's entourage and the club's management. Mahrez, who joined the club in July 2023, has scored one goal and provided two assists in nine league appearances this season. The Algerian international has 107 caps and 34 goals for his country. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €8.00m.
