Parma may attempt to reach an agreement with Cagliari for 20-year-old Italian defender Riyad Idrissi, who is currently recovering from a cruciate ligament injury and is not expected to play until at least September. Parma could potentially use the player's situation in negotiations. Cagliari had previously rejected a significant offer for Idrissi from the Premier League in January. It is reported that Napoli is also interested in the defender as a possible replacement should Mathias Olivera depart.
