Yamamoto is a 24-year-old Japanese defensive midfielder for Saint-Trond who has scored five goals and provided six assists in 28 league matches this season. Wolfsburg is also monitoring the player. It is reported that he is inclined towards a move to the Bundesliga. According to Transfermarkt, his value is estimated at €5 million.
