Richard Sánchez, a 29-year-old Paraguayan midfielder, has been made available for transfer by Racing after coach Gustavo Costas deemed him dispensable due to limited participation and high cost. The club seeks to recover part of the nearly $3 million it invested in the player through a sale or a loan with a mandatory purchase option. Sánchez has 33 caps and one goal for Paraguay. He joined Racing in March 2025 and has a contract until the end of 2028. His current valuation is €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt. Olimpia, from his native Paraguay, is a possible destination, though an agreement is difficult due to Racing's economic demands. A return to Liga MX is also considered an alternative for the midfielder.
