Renan Guedes is in the final year of his contract with Osijek and has been injured for almost two months.

Last winter, Guedes had an option to go on loan to another club until the end of the season but decided to stay and fight for his place in the team. He rejected the loan option because he liked the city, club, and fans of Osijek.
