Reda Laalaoui, a 20-year-old Moroccan midfielder, has signed for KVC Westerlo on a contract until mid-2029. The move came about after a transfer to the English club Hull City, which he had signed earlier in the summer, was not approved. The English side had committed Financial Fair Play violations, which meant Laalaoui could not be registered for the Championship. Consequently, the versatile midfielder, who can play in various roles and arrives from FUS Rabat, sought a different club.
