Reda Belahyane, a French-Moroccan midfielder, received two proposals from the Saudi Pro League in recent days. The Moroccan international was targeted by Al Ettifaq, while a second, significantly more financially attractive offer came from Al Ittihad. Despite interest from both clubs, the 22-year-old chose not to pursue the offers. Belahyane does not wish to join the Saudi league at this stage of his career, preferring to continue in Europe and compete for his position at Lazio, even as it was reported that the club was considering loaning him out. The French Ligue 1 was a leading option for acquiring him. Belahyane, who has one cap for Morocco, is under contract with Lazio until June 2029 and made 43 appearances with 4 assists in Serie A during the 2025/2026 season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €6.80m. In January 2026, it was reported that Lazio's asking price was a minimum of €10 million. He joined from Hellas Verona in February 2025 for a reported €9.5 million.
