Vasco has rejected a proposal from Zenit for 19-year-old Brazilian winger Rayan valued at 31 million euros. This was reportedly the second offer the Russian club has made for him. Vasco responded with a counter-proposal for 50 million euros. Zenit's interest in the player is still active. Rayan's contract includes an 80 million euro release clause, and Vasco feels this allows them to only consider offers they consider to be a fair price for the player. Rayan, who has 11 caps and 2 goals for Brazil U20, has a current Transfermarkt market value of €25.00m and has also been linked with other clubs, such as Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United. It was reported in December 2025 that Real Madrid were preparing a €50 million bid. In October 2025, Tottenham were reportedly preparing a €30 million bid. Porto had a €25 million offer rejected in September 2025.
