Raphael Kosakiewic's transfer to Liefering is official, a move that 'Krone' had previously reported. The 18-year-old Austrian offensive player impressed during a trial with the second division club and will join in the summer from West division side St. Johann. Contrary to earlier plans, he will play for Liefering immediately instead of staying at St. Johann for another year to complete his high school diploma in Tamsweg. A solution has been found that allows him to finish his education while playing for the club. In a press release, academy managing director Manfred Pamminger stated that Kosakiewic has developed very well and that his path shows his motivation. Pamminger added that they are convinced he will continue to progress with them. This move represents his entry into professional football, which was his main goal.
