Fredi Bobic, the sporting director for Legia Warsaw, had previously stated that the club rejected a seven-figure offer for Polish centre-forward Rafał Adamski, but did not provide further details at the time. The interested club was Slavia Prague, and the Czech champions offered two million euros for the 24-year-old. Had the proposal been accepted by Legia Warsaw, Adamski would have become the third Polish player to join the Prague-based club this summer, following Oskar Kubiak from Arka Gdynia and Wiktor Nowak from Górnik Zabrze. Adamski joined Legia in February 2026, holds a contract with the club until June 2029, and has a current market value of €650k according to Transfermarkt.
