Preston Fearon, a 19-year-old central midfielder, has departed West Ham United on loan to Forest Green Rovers. The England Under-20s international joins Forest Green Rovers on an initial three-month agreement, as reported by The Stroud Times. Forest Green Rovers boss Robbie Savage stated that Fearon had an opportunity with other clubs and that his choice demonstrates what the club can do with young players. Savage also commented that Fearon will be great for them over the next one to three months and will bring energy, creativity, skill, and a work ethic. He added that they are delighted to have him, describing him as one of the best young players in the country. Savage also mentioned that Fearon has played for England Under-20s and has chosen Forest Green for his first senior destination. His contract with West Ham expires in June 2028.
