Servette is considering a move for versatile Dutch-German defender Precious Ugwu, amid a disappointing start to the season and a need to stabilize their defense. The Swiss club is in contact with the 20-year-old to discuss a potential collaboration starting either this winter or next summer. Servette faces competition from Scottish top-flight club Heart of Midlothian, which is also showing interest. Ugwu is currently contracted to the Dutch second-division side FC Volendam until 2028 and is a regular starter. It is reported that he is thinking about his future, as he would prefer to play in a central role rather than on the right side of the defense where he is currently deployed.
