Dereck Kutesa, a 28-year-old Swiss winger who also holds Angolan citizenship, is expected to leave AEK to rejoin Servette, the club he departed a year ago. The transfer is reportedly motivated by the player's desire for more playing time, as he was not a core part of the rotation at AEK, having played only 18 minutes this season. At Servette, Kutesa is intended to be a replacement for Junior Kadi, who moved to Lens. AEK had other offers and were not insistent on selling him, but the player advocated for the transfer. Kutesa is expected to sign a five-year contract, with only a few details remaining to finalize the agreement.
