Olympique de Marseille intends to sell 37-year-old Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the summer transfer window, partly due to his substantial salary. The French club has set a transfer price of 1.5 million euros for the player, whose current market value is €2.50m according to Transfermarkt. In addition to interest from Trabzonspor, other Turkish clubs such as Fenerbahçe, Besiktas, and Corum are also keen. Furthermore, teams from Spain, Italy, and the United States have expressed interest. Aubameyang, who has a contract until June 2027, is not considered part of Marseille's future plans despite scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 30 Ligue 1 appearances in the 2025/2026 season. Al-Qadsiah reportedly paid Olympique Marseille €9 million for the player in July 2024, while a prior transfer to Chelsea from Barcelona in September 2022 was valued at a reported €12 million.
