During the summer, Aberdeen was among a number of clubs that attempted to acquire 21-year-old Pierre Dwomoh from Watford, but the English club was unwilling to let the midfielder depart. The Scottish outfit, along with Cercle Brugge, had its approach for the player turned down. More recently, Turkish side Konyaspor also made a push to sign Dwomoh, and according to Het Nieuwsblad, they submitted multiple bids. Nevertheless, Watford has maintained its firm stance on not selling the Belgian youth international. The player is under contract with Watford until June 30, 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €2.20 million.
