FC Basel is considering AS Monaco's 27-year-old Swiss goalkeeper Philipp Köhn as a potential successor for Marwin Hitz, who is set to leave the club for the 2026/27 season. The former FC Red Bull Salzburg goalkeeper is reportedly one of several candidates being evaluated for the position. Köhn joined Monaco in July 2023, has a contract until 2028, and has made 13 appearances in Ligue 1 this season. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €4.00m.
