Peter Michorl left Atromitos and signed a two-year contract with Grazer. The experienced 31-year-old Austrian midfielder was released by Atromitos less than a year after joining in July 2024 and decided to return to Austria, signing a contract until the summer of 2028. After signing, Peter Michorl stated that he was very happy to be at Grazer and that Tino Vaura had been watching him for a long time, which made the decision to join Grazer easy. Grazer's sporting director Tino Vaura said that with Michorl, they acquired a technically skilled footballer and also a personality with international experience. Vaura also said that Michorl's football history, leadership skills, and consistently high level of performance make him a significant asset for Grazer. Vaura also expressed pride that Grazer could convince such a player to join them despite intense competition. Michorl has one cap for Austria's U21 team and a current market value of €500k, according to Transfermarkt. He had also been linked with Wacker Innsbruck.
