Petar Sučić, a 22-year-old Croatian central midfielder, is reportedly dissatisfied with his playing time at Inter. Sučić has made concrete demands to the club's management, seeking a new contract and a pay rise. He currently earns around one and a half million euros per year and wants his status improved, similar to a recent case with Pio Esposito. Sučić's agent believes it is time for a contract revision. Sučić stated that in two or three months, they will see what the situation will be. Inter's management is currently in negotiations to extend contracts with several key players, and Sučić could soon be next in line. The Croatian international, who has 24 caps and 2 goals for his country, joined Inter in June 2025 and has a contract until June 2030, with a current Transfermarkt market value of €45.00m. Several clubs, including Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United, have been linked with him. According to recent reports from August 2026, Inter's asking price for the player was between €65 million and €70 million. He was signed from Dinamo Zagreb in June 2025 for a fee that was reported to be €14 million plus bonuses.
