According to Sportske Novosti, Newcastle could attempt to sign Inter midfielder Petar Sucic in January.

According to Sportske Novosti, there is an update on Newcastle's interest in Petar Sučić. While Inter had previously stated the player was not for sale, the situation is now changing following a change of director at the club. It is now possible that Inter would be willing to let him go for a good compensation. The report adds that a specific amount is not provided and is described as speculation.

According to Turkish insider Ekrem Konur, Newcastle has sent an official inquiry to Inter about Sučić's availability and price, and officials have also held talks with his representatives to present their sporting project. Newcastle's interest is driven by the expected departure of Joe Willock to Beşiktaş. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue. According to Konur, Inter is seeking a fee between 65 and 70 million euros, including bonuses, and will reject any lower offers. The same source reports that Sučić's priority is to join a club where he will have regular playing time, and Newcastle's project is attractive to him as he would take on a key role. According to Capology, Sučić currently earns a fixed 2.8 million euros per year at Inter, which could rise to four million with bonuses. A move would represent the biggest financial transfer of his career and he is expected to earn a higher salary.

According to Sportske Novosti, Newcastle is making inquiries about Petar Sučić as they are seeking a replacement for Bruno Guimaraes.
