Basel is reportedly among several clubs, including Milan and Atalanta, to have shown interest in Ludogorets' 25-year-old Serbian and Croatian attacking midfielder, Petar Stanić. Olympiacos has also positively evaluated the player, who had a season with 16 goals and 13 assists. The Bulgarian club is not willing to easily sell one of its most productive players, and it is estimated in Bulgaria that a bid of around or over €10 million with bonuses would be required to start discussions. There is significant competition to sign him, as AZ Alkmaar has already submitted an offer of approximately €7 million plus bonuses. Stanić, who has one cap for Serbia, is under contract with Ludogorets until June 2028. He joined from Bačka Topola in July 2025 for a fee reported to be €2.1 million. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value is €3.50m.
