The FC Porto player was aware of interest from Palmeiras, Roma, Flamengo, and two clubs from Saudi Arabia. However, Pepê decided it was not the right time to leave and did not encourage the interested parties or push for a move. The 29-year-old joined Porto in July 2021 and has a contract with the Portuguese club until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he is valued at €17.00m. He has been capped twice by the Brazilian national team.
