Yeremay Hernández Transfer from Deportivo La Coruña to Sporting CP
According to MARCA, Sporting CP have joined Barcelona, Napoli, and Como as clubs interested in Deportivo La Coruña winger Yeremay Hernández, but they may need to trigger the €40 million release clause in the 23-year-old’s contract.
According to AS, Sporting de Portugal offered 35 million euros for Yeremay Hernández last summer. The transfer was prevented by the player's commitment to Deportivo and the personal efforts of Juan Carlos Escotet, the club's owner and president. There is a promise from Portugal of a new bid for Yeremay Hernández.
According to A Bola, Sporting is interested in signing Yeremay Hernández. He is also a target for several other clubs. Sporting made an offer of €25 million plus €5 million in bonuses for the player in the summer. Yeremay Hernández's contract with Deportivo La Coruña runs until 2030 and includes a release clause of €50 million. Negotiations for a potential exit in the upcoming winter transfer window are complicated by the fact that Deportivo La Coruña is currently in 2nd place and aiming for promotion.
The newspaper 'Record' reports that Sporting Portugal is once again attempting to sign Yeremay Hernández during the winter transfer window. Last summer, Sporting Portugal offered 25 million euros plus five in add-ons for Yeremay Hernández, and the offer was rejected. Yeremay renewed with Dépor last June until 2030, with an option to extend for three more seasons, and his release clause is 40 million euros.
Yeremay Hernández remains on the radar of Sporting de Portugal. When asked by the Portuguese press about this interest, the player deflected the question. Yeremay was already on the radar of several clubs, including Sporting de Portugal, during the last summer transfer window.
Sporting CP showed interest in Yeremay, but his transfer fell through due to Deportivo's high asking price of over €30 million.
Sporting CP has made an offer of 25 million euros plus 5 million in bonuses for Yeremay Hernandez, a 22-year-old Spanish winger. The negotiation is complex, and Deportivo La Coruna is resisting the sale. His current contract with the Spanish club runs until 2030. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €15 million. Several other clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, Roma, and Napoli, have also been linked with the player.
