Eintracht Frankfurt is said to have a loose interest in the 23-year-old German-Irish attacking player Paul Nebel. As Nebel's contract expires next year, the summer could be the last opportunity for Mainz to receive a high transfer fee for him. According to 'kicker', Nebel is one of three players who could become the club's next expensive sales. However, sporting director Christian Heidel emphasized to the specialist magazine that the club does not have to sell any key players thanks to income from the European Cup, but that they would not prevent a transfer if it made sense from a sporting and economic perspective.
