Venezia is trying to sign Italian right-back Pasquale Mazzocchi, 31, who is expected to leave Napoli. Although there have been assurances from Naples that the player was conflicted about leaving, his departure is considered certain. Sky Sport reports that Venezia has approached Napoli for Mazzocchi and is currently ahead of other interested clubs. Other interested clubs for the player include Parma, which remains in contention, and Genoa, whose interest is reportedly dependent on the departure of Brooke Norton-Cuffy. Mazzocchi, who has one cap for Italy, joined Napoli in January 2024 from Salernitana for a reported €3.0 million. His current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
