Parma is monitoring Napoli's 30-year-old Italian right-back, Pasquale Mazzocchi. Discussions about a potential transfer to the Gialloblù had occurred in recent months, but a deal was not completed, partly due to interest from other clubs, including Sassuolo, Cagliari, and Pisa. His agent, Marco Sommella, had previously explained that the decision for Mazzocchi to remain at Napoli was made by the coach and Manna, who valued his reliability for the Champions League campaign. A loan is considered a possible option for a move. The defender has one cap for Italy. He joined Napoli in January 2024 and his contract runs until June 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.50m. He has not made any appearances in Serie A this season.
