Africafoot has reported that the Egyptian club El Gouna made an official offer to Raja Casablanca to sign Pape Ousmane Sakho, a 28-year-old Senegalese winger, during the winter transfer window. However, the proposal was rejected by coach Fadlu Davids, who stated that he plans to use Sakho for the second part of the season because of his excellent performances in training. This position is maintained even though the player has only been on the field for 26 minutes this season. In addition to El Gouna, Sakho's former club, Simba SC of Tanzania, is also making a strong effort to re-sign him. Davids has asked the board to delay any decision regarding the player's future until the conclusion of the team's training camp in Saudi Arabia. Sakho has one cap for Senegal and a contract with the club until June 2026. His current market value is €75k, according to Transfermarkt.
