Panagiotis Retsos is among the possible replacement candidates for VfB Stuttgart.

According to SPORT24, Stuttgart has so far made no official move for Panagiotis Retsos to either the player or Olympiacos. According to Ilias Kallonás and Antonis Oikonomidis, the demands of Olympiacos for Retsos are at or may be more than 15 million euros, an amount they also described as difficult for Stuttgart to meet.

According to Sport FM, Stuttgart's interest in Panagiotis Retsos continues, with the player again being considered by the club. The Germans have been monitoring the Olympiacos captain consistently and appreciate him, but have not yet made a final move. The report adds that they are also considering other options in the market.

VfB Stuttgart has reportedly made Panagiotis Retsos, a 27-year-old Greek center-back, a priority transfer target. The German club is said to appreciate his previous experience in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen and his qualities in build-up play. Retsos is under contract with Olympiacos until 2028, and it is expected that the Greek club will require a significant fee for his transfer.
