Paddy McNair Transfer from San Diego to Hull City
Experienced 30-year-old Centre-Back Paddy McNair has become Hull City's third signing of the January window, signing an 18-month contract at the MKM Stadium which includes an option for a further 12 months. The Northern Ireland international reached an agreement to terminate his contract with MLS club San Diego, which was set to run until December 2027 with an additional one-year option. Before finalizing his transfer, McNair was present at the MKM Stadium on Saturday to watch Hull City play. The defender, who has 80 caps and 7 goals for Northern Ireland, played for West Brom for a short period after leaving Middlesbrough and before finishing the MLS season with San Diego. His current Transfermarkt market value is €2.80m. Before the transfer, he was also linked with Portsmouth and Oxford United.
