Pablo Galdames leaving Independiente?

Mundo Deportivo reports that Pablo Galdames has joined Burgos CF. According to a statement from the club, he is their first signing in the winter transfer market and a reinforcement for the second half of the season on a contract until June 2027. Galdames joins Burgos after having terminated his contract with the Argentine club Independiente, where he played 33 matches, scored 4 goals, and provided 2 assists in the 2025 season.

According to TYC, Independiente announced that Pablo Galdamés is departing for Burgos CF, a club in the Segunda División of Spain. Galdamés reached an agreement to terminate his contract with Independiente and will join Burgos as a free agent. The club officially communicated the move and wished him well in his career.

Pablo Galdames, a 29-year-old Chilean central midfielder, has an offer from Chile. He joined Independiente as a free agent in January of the previous year after a period with Vasco da Gama and holds a contract until December 2026. For Independiente, Galdames played 33 matches, scoring four goals. He has 12 caps for Chile, and his current market value is listed as €1.30m by Transfermarkt. San Lorenzo has also been linked with the player recently.
