Sport.ro reports on the signing of Ovidiu Popescu to UTA Arad. Ovidiu Popescu has signed a contract with UTA Arad, valid until 2027. He played 18 matches for Universitatea Cluj last season and has a history with UTA Arad, having played there in the 2013-2014 season. UTA Arad announced that they reached an agreement with Universitatea Cluj for the transfer of Ovidiu Popescu. The player has extensive experience in the Romanian Superliga and has represented the national team of Romania twice. He has also won a national championship with FCSB in 2024 and a Romanian Cup in 2020 with the same team.
